1st Review, LLC, is an electronic building plan review service. 1st Review provides a preliminary building code/ standards review before a jurisdictional submittal of a building construction permit. |

Currently, many code enforcement jurisdictions/ building inspections departments are imposing plan review fees after a certain number of plan review cycles. The plan review fees are usually part of the building construction permit fees. Multiple plan review cycles performed by a local code enforcement jurisdiction can sometimes delay the construction permit process up to a year; as a result of the permit process being delayed the construction completion deadline is delayed. Construction delays can cost the industry thousands and could possibly be millions of dollars depending on the size of the construction project. |

1st Review will provide the following services for your Design team: |

Provide a preliminary review/meeting at no cost for estimating review time. Investigate local code enforcement interpretations and submittal process requirements. |

Provide a building, fire, electrical, mechanical, plumbing code / standards, life safety and accessibility review before a jurisdictional submittal. |
|
Provide an electronic plan review service utilizing Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1 (pdf file format) and Autodesk Design Reviewer. Both programs allow redlines and review comments to be placed directly on the electronic drawings. The Design Reviewer program also allows the following file formats: .dwf, .dwg, .dxf, .dgn, .jt, and raster files. |

Provide a detailed summary of redlined items per drawing sheet and send an e-mail notification of reviewed drawings posted on the secured ftp web page. |
